A charming travel guide welcomes Berlin visitors and takes them into the "fourth Berlinoscope dimension" and awakens "the sixth sense of the principle of the cosmopolitan city". This film illustrates the motto: "Berlin lives from opposition". This brief film, shot with sophisticated optical tricks, aims to prove this. The versatility of the city is presented as if in a kaleidoscope with fast-paced cuts and an often three-part screen. In addition to valuable international prizes (Grand Award 1969 New York; Festival Campione d'Italia 1969), the film also enjoyed great success at the 1970 Osaka World's Fair.
